From 30 April until September 2022 the second entrance to the Hortus, the Talcott house on the Sterrenwachtlaan, will be open again. So on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10:00 to 18:00, curious walkers can also enter the Hortus from the back of the garden.
The second entrance at the Sterrenwachtlaan was put into use for the first time last year, as a pilot project. This extra entrance borders the Singelpark, so that walkers no longer have to make a diversion to visit the Hortus during their walk.
Visitors can buy a ticket for the garden or have their Museum Card scanned. The house also houses a catering to-go point, where tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks are available.
